Ingredients
¼cupcanola oil
1teaspoonworcestershire sauce
2teaspoonspaprika
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonpepper
1teaspoongarlicminced or powder
1teaspoononionminced or powder
¼teaspooncayenneoptional
Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients into a measuring cup or small mixing bowl and whisk together until well combined.
Place the meat to be marinated into a sealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Squeeze as much air out of the bag as possible and seal the bag.
Gently shake or move the meat around in the bag until all surfaces are completely covered with the marinade.
Place the bag in the refrigerator and let sit for two hours.
Notes
Marinating Time: I recommend letting the meat marinate for a couple of hours (no more than 24 hours). However, if you are in a pinch, letting it set for 15-30 minutes will allow the meat to absorb some of the flavors.Yield: About 1/4 cup of marinade, which is enough for one pound of meat. You can easily scale this recipe up or down depending on how much meat you are using.
