In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Pour the bag of coleslaw into the same large mixing bowl and toss with the dressing until all of the cabbage is coated with dressing.
Serve immediately or place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
Notes
If you don't want your coleslaw to be as 'saucy', start by adding 1/2 to 3/4 of the dressing and mix it up until you get it just how you like it.
Try adding a teaspoon of our BBQ Rubinto the coleslaw to add another layer of flavor.
If you like a crisp coleslaw, prepare this dish and serve right away. If you prefer a softer, more tender coleslaw, prepare ahead of time and allow it to sit in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
Coleslaw will last for up to three days in the refrigerator.
