Coleslaw Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 16 ounce bagged coleslaw

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Pour the bag of coleslaw into the same large mixing bowl and toss with the dressing until all of the cabbage is coated with dressing.
  • Serve immediately or place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Notes

  • If you don't want your coleslaw to be as 'saucy', start by adding 1/2 to 3/4 of the dressing and mix it up until you get it just how you like it. 
  • Try adding a teaspoon of our BBQ Rub into the coleslaw to add another layer of flavor.
  • If you like a crisp coleslaw, prepare this dish and serve right away. If you prefer a softer, more tender coleslaw, prepare ahead of time and allow it to sit in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
  • Coleslaw will last for up to three days in the refrigerator.
