Ingredients
2(28 ounce cans) Baked Beans
1pound Ground Beefbrowned
1Green Bell Pepper
1Small Onion
1/2cupHoney
1/4 cupMustard
1/2teaspoonSalt
1/4teaspoonBlack Pepper
2tablespoonsWorcestershire Sauce
5stripsBacon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F (177° C). Spray a 9x13 dish with non stick cooking spray and set aside.
Brown one pound of ground beef over medium high heat until cooked through. Drain and stir in the salt, pepper, and worchestersire sauce. Set aside.
Chop the onion and bell pepper into small pieces.
Combine the cooked ground beef, onion, bell pepper, beans, honey, and mustard in a 9x13 dish and mix until well combined. Cut the bacon into small pieces and place on top of the beans.
Bake at 350° F for one hour or until the bacon is crispy and the beans are heated through. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Mixing Instructions: If you would rather, you can mix all of the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl then pour into the sprayed baking dish.Ground Beef: You can easily swap the ground beef for the same amount of ground turkey or ground chicken.
